RECOGNITION OF LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR, OLIVIYAH EDWARDS, AS A MCDONALD’S ALL-AMERICAN AND THE WASHINGTON STATE GATORADE PLAYER OF THE YEAR The Superintendent, on behalf of the Director of Athletics and Activities, recommends that the Board of Directors recognize Lincoln High School Senior, Oliviyah Edwards, as a McDonald’s All-American and Washington Gatorade Player of the Year.

APPROVAL OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING/CONTRACT NO. TSD-26-029 BETWEEN THE PUGET SOUND EDUCATIONAL SERVICE DISTRICT AND TACOMA SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 10 FOR THE SUMMER DISCOVERY PROGRAM FROM MARCH 2, 2026 – OCTOBER 31, 2026 APPROVAL OF CONTRACT NO. TSD-26-035 BETWEEN BETHEL SCHOOL DISTRICT AND TACOMA SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 10 FROM MARCH 1, 2026 - AUGUST 31, 2027. The Deputy Superintendent, on behalf of the Co-Director of Student Services recommends that the Board of Directors approve Contract No. TSD-26-035 between Bethel School District and Tacoma School District No. 10 to service students at our Nell Hoyt program in the amount of $300,000.00 from March 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027 [Funding Source: Bethel School District]

ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 2177 AND ACCEPTANCE OF CONTRACT BETWEEN TACOMA PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 10 AND MADSEN ROOFING FOR THE CAB TOWER RE-ROOFING PROJECT The Chief Operating Officer, on behalf of the Executive Director of Planning and Construction, recommends that the Board of Directors adopt Resolution No. 2177 for the acceptance of project completion and approve the Acceptance of Contract of $619,170.15, pre-tax, with Madsen Roofing for the CAB Tower Re-Roof Project.
